Kiwipure’s ionizer - turning your hard water soft

Why is it better if your household water is soft?
You may wonder why it makes any difference if the water coming out of your household taps is hard or soft?
Hard water contains dissolved carbonates of calcium and magnesium which inhibits soap and detergent lathering. Also when hard water boils, the carbonates are deposited as ‘lime scale’ in your water pipes and appliances.
Soft water allows soaps, shampoos and detergents to work more efficiently while also reducing scale buildup.
